Sharing it all

I grew up in a beautiful loving home it was a normal home we didn't have much, but we had a great time together. My family was very large with aunts and uncles from all over the globe I experienced so much heritage, Danish, German, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, English, French you should laugh at my DNA report.  I'm a bit of everything a true American!

My Dad loved to paint He was an architect by profession, but he loved the Degrassi style of pallet knife work. I think that also influenced my art to this day I love to see that chunky thick paint!

I grew up painting with my dad and my mom would play her guitar in the background.  My older brother got all the brains of the family and became a physicist, but he could draw too.

After a while painting and creating was just a thing to do to pass the time.  I used to sell my little creations to my parents clients for spending money.  That was fun.  I really didn't know if they liked my stuff or just wanted to support my habit.

I attended college after one of my daughters passed in a car accident, she was only 16 and it was the most devastating thing any mother (or parent) could go through. But if it wasn't for my art I don't think I would have been able to cope with the loss. I did art therapy during the first couple years learning to deal with the emotions I experienced.  That was when I started scuptures I could completly express the pain through the visual 3d media. I have a degree in Foundry Art and I'm able to share with others Art therapy.

My art today has evolved into Beautiful Views. I think I prefer to share the brighter parts of life having experienced the other side.

In the descriptions of these pieces you can read more about the little things I remember in life, the vacations, the happy times, and the love we share with each other.  Yes, I paint from Life and Light and Love. The three L's
